Carolyn Grosch is an Assistant Professor of Practice and Curator of Collections and Exhibitions at the Western Carolina University Fine Art Museum, affiliated with the David Orr Belcher College of Fine and Performing Arts and the School of Art and Design. She holds an MA in Art History and Museum Studies from Tufts University with specializations in contemporary art and collections care.
Education:

Research Interests: Site-specific installations, contemporary photography, intersections of art and pop culture, Cherokee art and culture, studio glass, and neurodiversity in artistic practice. Her exhibitions include At The Table (exploring community and representation), Spark of the Eagle Dancer (showcasing contemporary Native American art), and The Way I'm Wired (examining neurodiversity in art).
Teaching: Leads the Exhibition Practicum course, emphasizing interdisciplinary and object-centered learning. Advocates for collaborative museum projects across academic disciplines.
Labs/Teams: Director of the Western Carolina University Fine Art Museum, fostering campus-wide cultural engagement through exhibitions and programs.
