Tatek Abebe is a Professor in Childhood Studies at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), affiliated with the Department of Education and Lifelong Learning within the Faculty of Social and Educational Sciences. His work bridges childhood/youth studies with development studies, focusing on how young people navigate and reshape socio-cultural and political-economic environments. He leads research initiatives on music as a tool for resistance, generational justice, and African futures.
