Tasneem Sabir

Dr. Tasneem Sabir is a Senior Lecturer in Textiles Technology at the Institute of Sport, Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU), with over 20 years of expertise in textile innovation and sports apparel. She coordinates undergraduate and postgraduate Fashion Textiles programs, emphasizing high-performance materials and injury prevention. Her research focuses on smart materials for sports applications, particularly female knee injury prevention via adaptive braces using metamaterials.
