Kristina Brubacher

Kristina Brubacher is a Senior Lecturer in Fashion Technology at the Department of Materials, University of Manchester. Her work focuses on interdisciplinary research at the intersection of clothing, body, and self-identity. She holds a PhD from Manchester Metropolitan University (2018), Master of Science in Clothing Product Development (2013), and BSc in Textile and Clothing Management (2009). Her research explores functional clothing design using 3D technologies, virtual fit systems, and user-centered methodologies to enhance garment-body interactions.
