Kathryn Brownbridge

Dr. Kathryn Brownbridge is a Senior Lecturer in Fashion Design at the Manchester Fashion Institute, Manchester Metropolitan University. She holds a PhD (2012), MSc (2002), and BA (1995) in Fashion-related fields. Her research focuses on 3D garment technologies, anthropometric applications, and the influence of beauty ideals on design. Current projects include collaborative work on body scanning for body image interventions, idealized body proportions, automated 3D pattern generation, and custom dress forms.
