Dr Oliver Duncan is a Senior Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering at Manchester Metropolitan University. He co-leads the Mechanical Metamaterials Special Interest Group within the UK Metamaterials Network and holds a PhD in Advanced Materials and an MSc in Sports Engineering. His work focuses on developing novel materials for impact protection, collaborating with sports brands to implement these innovations.
