Tashia Caughran is a Senior Lecturer of Chemistry at the University of North Georgia (UNG) on the Oconee Campus. She was honored as a Governor's Teaching Fellow (GTF) in 2021, participating in a two-week Summer Symposium focused on pedagogical development and active learning practices. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes clarity, relevance, and student support, incorporating strategies like revised syllabi with positive wording, group work, and supplemental instruction sessions.
