Laura Ng

Dr. Laura Ng is a Professor of English and Assistant Dean at the University of North Georgia's College of Arts & Letters Oconee campus. She holds a Ph.D. in 20th Century American Literature, Gender, and Renaissance Poetry from Louisiana State University (2005).

• Research: Gender studies, Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL), Peace Studies, and interdisciplinary pedagogy.
• Education: Ph.D. (2005), M.A. (1997), and B.A. (1995) in English from Morehead State University and Louisiana State University.

Her published works focus on SoTL methodologies, multimodal composition, and faculty development in teaching-intensive universities. She co-directs UNG’s Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Faculty Academy and serves as a reviewer for journals like Teaching & Learning Inquiry and International Journal of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education.
