Tarani Chandola is Professor of Medical Sociology at the University of Manchester. His research examines social determinants of health using longitudinal cohort studies.
He co-directs ESRC centres including the National Centre for Research Methods. Key interests:
- Work stress and health outcomes
- Socioeconomic health inequalities
- Biomarker analysis
Awards include Fellowship of the Academy of Social Sciences.
