Tao Lin is a Lecturer in Graphic Design at Kingston University's School of Design within the Kingston School of Art. With professional experience at FITCH London as a branding designer, she has contributed to projects for the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics Russian Rail pitch, HSBC, Dell, and McClaren. Her teaching philosophy is informed by cross-cultural experiences in China and the UK.
Her qualifications include:
- PGCert in Learning and Teaching in HE (Kingston)
- MA Communication Design (Central Saint Martins)
- BA Graphic and Media Design (London College of Communication)
- BA Graphic Design (Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts)
Research interests focus on visual communication strategies in retail environments and culturally responsive pedagogy, particularly how design principles translate across global contexts.
