Tanya Bartholomew is Professor of the Practice of Law at the University of Denver's Sturm College of Law, specializing in Lawyering Process. With over 20 years' teaching experience, she instructs in legal research, writing, analysis, and appellate advocacy.
Her academic contributions include:
- Teaching in the Master of Science in Legal Administration program
- Developing curriculum integrating professional identity formation
- Leading the Lawyering Process Teaching Group
- Mentoring students pursuing political careers
Before academia, she clerked for Iowa Court of Appeals judges including Honorable Mark Cady (later Iowa Supreme Court Chief Justice) and practiced appellate law. She holds a JD from Drake University and BA from University of Oregon.
