Tamim Hamdi

Tamim Hamdi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine (Division of Nephrology) at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He received medical training at Beirut Arab University and completed residency at St. Joseph Hospital in Chicago, followed by fellowships in nephrology and critical care medicine at Henry Ford Hospital where he served as Chief Fellow.

His research focuses on critical care nephrology and diabetic nephropathy, with peer-reviewed publications and invited lectures. He serves on the Nephrology Fellowship Clinical Competence Committee and holds memberships in professional societies including the American Society of Nephrology.
