Tamarie Macon, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Health Leadership and Practice at the University of North Carolina’s Gillings School of Global Public Health. She also serves as a Health Equity and Policy Executive with the Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC). Her work focuses on racial justice, community engagement, and policy development to address systemic inequities.
