Geraldine L. Palmer, Ph.D., is an Adjunct Professor at National Louis University (NLU) and Adler University. At NLU, she teaches in the BS/MS Health and Human Services programs, covering courses such as Introduction to Human Services, Social Policy Development, and Leadership and Ethics. At Adler University, she instructs Community Psychology, Social Psychology, and Diversity and Individual Differences in the Psy.D. Clinical Psychology program.

As Chair of the Cultural, Ethnic and Racial Affairs (CERA) Council (APA Division 27) and Co-founder of the Center for Educational Opportunities for Descendants of the African Diaspora (CEODAD), she leads initiatives addressing historical trauma and equity.
Recent publications explore decolonization, social justice advocacy, academic career development, and housing solutions for homeless African American men, reflecting her interdisciplinary focus on psychology, policy, and community empowerment.
