Manal Guirguis-Younger is a Professor and Director of Clinical Training in the Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) program at Adler University's Vancouver campus. She previously served as Dean and Full Professor at Saint Paul University's Faculties of Human Sciences and Philosophy (2014–2018), Director of Graduate Studies (2011–2014), and Director of M.A. and Ph.D. Counselling Programs (2005–2011).
- Education: Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology (University of Ottawa), B.Sc. (Hons.) in Psychology (University of Toronto)
Her research focuses on homelessness, poverty, palliative care, and alternative health-service delivery to marginalized groups, particularly Indigenous peoples of Canada. She explores accessibility challenges, systemic inequities, and leadership theory in academic and community mental health contexts. Additional interests include professional/personal development and civic participation.
Her publications include edited books and journal articles on topics like harm reduction, Indigenous health, and end-of-life care for homeless populations. Recent works emphasize health equity, shelter-based hospice models, and HIV/AIDS care integration.

Guirguis-Younger advocates for inquiry-based teaching, critical thinking, and community engagement to foster socially responsible practitioners. She is a Registered Psychologist in British Columbia and member of the Canadian Psychological Association.
