Maureen Keeshin

Maureen Keeshin is an Associate Professor and Department Chair in the Counseling Psychology Department at The Chicago School. Based in Chicago, IL, she plays a pivotal role in teaching, student advisement, and clinical supervision, while also contributing to community initiatives aimed at mental health stigma reduction.

• Education: Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University (2008).

Her research and clinical work focus on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, psychological assessment, and supervision of trainees. She emphasizes client-centered approaches and community engagement through Service Learning projects.

Dr. Keeshin teaches courses in the Master's in Clinical Psychology program and provides psychological therapy for adults and children, alongside clinical supervision for pre- and post-doctoral trainees.

She serves on the Board of Directors for North Side Housing and Supportive Services, a nonprofit agency addressing homelessness in Chicago.
