Talal Al-Hayale is a Professor of Accounting at the Odette School of Business, University of Windsor. He holds a Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Wales, UK (1990), an M.S. in Finance (1985), and a B.A. in Accounting from the University of Mosul, Iraq (1978). His research focuses on accounting ethics, financial reporting, earnings management, and auditing. Notable contributions include studies on audit fees, managerial behavior, and the impact of computerized systems on accounting practices. Al-Hayale has authored books and articles in top journals like the Journal of Business Finance & Accounting and Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting.
