Tabrez Siddiqui is an Associate Professor at the University of Manitoba, affiliated with the Max Rady College of Medicine and the Department of Physiology & Pathophysiology. He is a principal investigator at the Kleysen Institute for Advanced Medicine and a research scientist at the Children’s Hospital Research Institute of Manitoba (CHRIM). His work focuses on synaptic adhesion proteins and their roles in neurodevelopmental disorders.

- Synapse development and plasticity
- Molecular mechanisms of neural circuit formation
- Autism spectrum disorder and schizophrenia
- Trans-synaptic adhesion proteins
