معرفی
Sławomir Drózd, M.A., serves as a lecturer and doctoral candidate at the Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz, where he graduated with distinction in traverso flute under Michael Schmidt-Casdorff. He maintains active performance affiliations with premier ensembles including the Orchestra of the 18th Century (Netherlands), Green Kore, Mousikê Technê, and Intemperata across European festivals.
His research centers on Baroque and early music interpretation, specializing in traverso flute repertoire through rigorous historical performance practice. Drózd has premiered contemporary works like Marcin Gumiela's "Arietta" while reconstructing canonical pieces by Handel, Vivaldi, and Telemann, notably performing eight Handel concerts at the 2022 Vestibule of Paradise festival and ten Vivaldi/Bach concerts with Green Kore Orchestra.
As an institutional contributor, he co-organizes the Department of Harpsichord, Organ, and Early Music's academic initiatives including Tuesdays with Early Music and student concert series. His cultural leadership extends to founding regional events such as the Bydgoszcz Baroque Stage, Baroque Stage in Inowrocław, and European Early Music Day throughout the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship.
