Søren Fisker Schmidt

Søren Fisker Schmidt is an Associate Professor at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, University of Southern Denmark, within the Faculty of Science. He leads the Functional Genomics & Metabolism Research Unit, focusing on metabolic regulation and adipose tissue biology.

Research explores transcriptional control in metabolism, including adipocyte function, liver-hepatic signaling, and cancer cachexia mechanisms.
