Sylvia has accumulated extensive operational experience in five-star hotel sectors across America, the United Kingdom, Australia, and the United Arab Emirates. Her roles have included Rooms Division Management, Reservations Management, Conference & Banqueting, and Revenue Management, working with renowned brands such as Tiara Hotels & Resorts, Fairmont Raffles Hotels International, InterContinental Hotel Group, and The Grove.
At the University of Surrey, she serves as Programme Leader for the MSc International Hospitality Management (Euromasters) and leads Executive Education in Revenue Management. Her teaching focuses on aligning five-star luxury service standards with revenue maximization strategies. Recently, she contributed to a partnership initiative between SHTM and the Ministry of Tourism of Saudi Arabia to educate next-generation tourism professionals.
