Swati Dhingra

Swati Dhingra is an Associate Professor of Economics at the London School of Economics (LSE), affiliated with the Centre for Economic Performance (CEP). Her research focuses on international economics, trade policy, and industrial organisation, with significant contributions to Brexit impact analysis and globalisation studies. She holds adjunct roles at Bocconi University and has been a visiting scholar at institutions including Cambridge and Oxford.

Educated at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (PhD 2010) and Delhi School of Economics, her work bridges academic research and public policy. She serves on prestigious boards such as the Institute for Fiscal Studies and the Royal Mint Museum. Notable achievements include the ERC Starting Grant and the FIW Young Economist Award.
