Sven Porath

Dr. Sven Porath is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Freiburg, affiliated with the Cluster of Excellence livMatS (Freiburg Center for Interactive Materials and Bioinspired Technologies). His research focuses on developing high-energy-density photo batteries, specifically lithium-sulfur batteries that integrate solar energy harvesting and storage. He investigates sustainable materials, electrode stability, and solvent systems to enhance battery longevity. He is supervised by Prof. Dr. Ingo Krossing and is part of the Research Area A team.
