Sagar Hosangadi Prutvi

Dr. Sagar Hosangadi Prutvi is a postdoctoral researcher affiliated with the Cluster of Excellence livMatS at the University of Freiburg. His primary research focuses on developing frequency-tunable triboelectric generators for energy harvesting from ambient vibrations, such as those in engine casings. His work emphasizes designing cost-effective mechanical structures and active layers to optimize energy generation, with applications in remote weather sensors and low-power devices.

Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Peter Woias, his research integrates materials science and mechanical engineering to advance sustainable energy solutions. He is actively involved in the livMatS Colloquium series, contributing to interdisciplinary discussions in interactive materials and bioinspired technologies.
