Dr. Svea Bräunert is a Research Associate and Co-Project Manager in the Volkswagen Foundation-funded project “Limits: Operational Relationships of Climate and Migration” at the Department of Design, Potsdam University of Applied Sciences (since January 2024). She concurrently serves as Acting Professor for Digital Media Culture (W 2) at Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University Bonn (2024). Her research focuses on modern and contemporary art, media theory, and media aesthetics, with emphasis on intersections of climate, migration, and drone imaging.
