Suzette Scotti is a Lecturer in Art History at the University of Hawaii, specializing in the Italian Renaissance and the prevention of art crimes. Her research focuses on the restitution of looted cultural property, provenance research, and the role of museums in fostering intercultural dialogue and preserving cultural identity. She has been awarded the Board of Regents’ Medal for Excellence in Teaching for her engaging pedagogy in global art surveys and courses on African, American, and Pacific art.
