Suzanne Nicholson, Ph.D., is a Professor of New Testament at Asbury University. Previously, she taught at Malone University for 16 years. Her academic background includes a Ph.D. in New Testament Studies from the University of Durham, an M.Div. from Asbury Theological Seminary, and a B.A. in journalism from the University of Minnesota. She is an elder in the Global Methodist Church, serving on the Commission for Doctrine, Discipleship, and Just Ministry. Nicholson holds editorial roles with Firebrand magazine and the Journal of Inductive Biblical Studies, and co-sponsors the Inductive Study of Scripture Research Group at the Institute for Biblical Research.

Publications include edited volumes on Methodist spirituality, commentaries on Ephesians, and articles on topics ranging from women in the New Testament to the ethical use of technology in ministry. She frequently contributes to Firebrand magazine, addressing contemporary theological issues.
Service & Leadership involves board memberships, theological conferences, and speaking engagements such as the Dennis F. Kinlaw Symposium and the Chaney Lectures.
