Suzanne N. Haber

Suzanne N. Haber is a Professor at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry (SMD), holding joint appointments in Pharmacology and Physiology, Neuroscience, and Psychiatry. Her research focuses on the neural networks underlying incentive learning, decision-making, and action plans, particularly within the cortico-basal ganglia-thalamic system. She investigates disorders such as obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), addiction, schizophrenia, and Parkinson's disease. Dr. Haber's work integrates anatomical studies with neuroimaging and deep brain stimulation (DBS) to understand circuit dysfunction and therapeutic mechanisms.
