Dr. Suzanne Hill is an Assistant Professor at the University of Bradford's School of Pharmacy & Medical Sciences. A pharmacist with extensive clinical experience across community, hospital, and primary care settings, she transitioned to academia through teaching practitioner roles. Her PhD research investigates medicine management systems for dementia patients during care transitions between homes and hospitals.
Her research program focuses on medication safety, quality of care improvement, continuity challenges during healthcare transitions, and dementia-specific pharmaceutical care. She developed expertise in prescribing support during her tenure at NHS Kirklees.
Dr. Hill teaches undergraduate and postgraduate Forensic Biochemistry courses. She received funding from PRUK for her Master's in Research Methods and currently holds an Alzheimer's Society Doctoral Training Centre studentship. Professional activities include educational development and clinical research collaborations.
