Susanna Schellenberg is a Distinguished Professor of Philosophy and Cognitive Science at Rutgers University and an Executive Council Faculty member of the Rutgers University Center for Cognitive Science (RuCCS). Her research spans epistemology, philosophy of mind, cognitive science, AI, and neuroscience, focusing on perception, mental representation, capacities, perspectives, and consciousness.

Her current projects, funded by a Guggenheim Fellowship, Mellon New Directions Fellowship, and NEH Grant, explore the intersection of AI, neuroscience, and philosophy, particularly the nature of perspectives in humans and AI systems. She is developing a book on reflexivity and working on neural basis of perception studies.
