Manish Singh

Manish Singh is a Professor in the Department of Psychology at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and a member of the Rutgers Center for Cognitive Science (RuCCS). He holds a Ph.D. in Cognitive Sciences from the University of California, Irvine (1998), followed by postdoctoral research at MIT’s Department of Brain & Cognitive Sciences. His work bridges visual perception, computational modeling, and cognitive psychology.

Recent work addresses evolutionary perspectives on perception, emphasizing fitness-driven perceptual strategies over literal truth.
