Susann Fiedler

Dr. Susann Fiedler is Professor for Business and Psychology at Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien's Institute for Cognition and Behavior. Since February 2021, she has held this position while previously heading the Gielen-Leyendecker Research Group at the Max Planck Institute for Research on Collective Goods (2014-2022).

Her research examines:

• Judgment formation and decision processes
• Motivational drivers in economic behavior
• Trust and cooperation dynamics
• Ethical boundaries in workplace settings
• Information processing biases

With over 50 publications, her recent work explores moral judgment mechanisms, crowdfunding psychology, and cross-cultural sanction systems. She serves in editorial roles for Science Advances and Journal of Advances in Methods and Practices in Psychological Science, and as Ombudsperson of the German Psychological Society.
