Susan Soat Ching

Susan Soat Ching is an Associate Professor (Educator Track) at the Department of Accounting, NUS Business School, National University of Singapore. She currently serves as Assistant Dean overseeing the School’s undergraduate business administration program. Her professional roles include membership in the National Kidney Foundation's finance committee since 2016 and prior board memberships at Singapore O&G Limited (2019-2022), where she chaired the remuneration committee and sat on audit and nomination committees.

With a background as a Chartered Accountant (Singapore), she contributes to professional oversight through ISCA’s Membership, Growth & Engagement Committee (2021-2023) and currently serves on ACRA’s Professional Education Council. Her career spans 13 years in tax compliance, business planning, and professional training prior to joining NUS in 2010.

Her expertise focuses on governance frameworks, risk management systems, and corporate financial practices. Active in both academic and professional spheres, she bridges theoretical accounting principles with practical corporate governance challenges.
