Dominique TAN

Dominique TAN is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the College of Business (Nanyang Business School), Nanyang Technological University, within the Department of Accounting. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (with honours) from NTU (2003). His career spans roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), including international assignments in Norway focusing on audit and financial due diligence for shipping and oil & gas sectors. He has led initiatives in external/internal audits, forensic audits, and technology-driven solutions for corporates through his company, Nebis Group.

Research interests center on leveraging technology (AI, robotics) to enhance corporate governance effectiveness and operational efficiency. He explores how automation and artificial intelligence can transform financial processes, audit practices, and sustainability reporting.

Industry experience includes roles as Engagement Partner for listed company audits, Head of Internal Audit at an international firm, and leadership in forensic investigations. He has contributed to professional bodies such as the International Integrated Reporting Council (2016–2018), ISCA’s Young Professionals Advisory Committee, and Singapore Institute of Directors’ Sustainability Committee.

Certifications include Certified Director (INSEAD), ASEAN CPA, Practising Member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants, and Certified Financial Forensic Professional (ISCA).
