Clarence Goh

Clarence Goh is a Full-time Faculty Associate Professor of Accounting (Practice) at Singapore Management University's School of Accountancy (SOA). He serves as Director of Professional Development and Member of both the University Tribunal and Institutional Review Board. He holds a PhD and First Class Honours in Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University, alongside professional certifications as CFA (Singapore) and FCPA (Australia). His research focuses on judgment/decision-making in accounting and digital transformation, with notable contributions to audit analysis, investor behavior, and accounting education innovation.

Education background includes a PhD in Accounting (NTU, 2016) and Bachelor of Accountancy (First Class Honours, NTU, 200?). Prior to academia, he led Asia-Pacific Corporate Research at Jones Lang LaSalle and held senior roles at Deutsche Bank, Barclays Capital, and ISCA.

Research interests span digital transformation strategies, audit reporting standards, and educational programs preparing accountants for data-driven roles. He has pioneered accounting analytics curricula and emphasized experiential learning through capstone projects. Teaching areas include ethics, data visualization, and Tableau-based dashboarding.
