Siew Beng Simon Poh

Siew Beng Simon Poh serves as Associate Professor (Practice) in the Accounting Department at the National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School, teaching Taxation (ACC3703) and Advanced Taxation (ACC4711) courses. With over three decades of integrated academic and professional tax expertise, he bridges theoretical instruction with real-world tax advisory experience across corporate, individual, and GST domains in Singapore and the Asia Pacific region.

His educational foundation includes a Bachelor of Accountancy (1985) and MBA (1993), both from NUS. Professional credentials feature Fellow Chartered Accountant status (ISCA, 2004), Accredited Tax Advisor designations (SIATP, 2010), and Full Membership in the Singapore Institute of Directors (2008).

Professor Poh's research centers on practical taxation frameworks, evidenced by his authoritative Taxation in Singapore book series (2020-2024 editions). His work consistently addresses evolving regulatory landscapes, emphasizing corporate restructuring, international tax planning, transfer pricing, and cross-border investment implications through comprehensive legislative analysis and case studies.
