Susan C. Alberts is the Robert F. Durden Distinguished Professor of Biology and Evolutionary Anthropology at Duke University, serving as Dean of Natural Sciences within Trinity College of Arts and Sciences. Her research focuses on the behavior, ecology, physiology, and genetics of large mammals, particularly through her leadership in the 50+ year Amboseli baboon research project in Kenya.
