Dr. Susan Branco serves as Assistant Professor of Counselor Education within the School of Education at St. Bonaventure University, where her work integrates multicultural counseling, social justice advocacy, and adoption research.
Her research focuses on the intersection of cultural identity and adoption experiences, particularly examining transracial and international adoption dynamics. She investigates psychological, social, and familial dimensions of adoption with emphasis on Latinx communities and Colombian adoptee reunions.
