Oh Myo Kim is an Associate Professor of the Practice in the Counseling, Developmental & Educational Psychology Department at Boston College’s Lynch School of Education and Human Development. Her research focuses on adoption dynamics, particularly transracial and transnational adoptee experiences, identity development, and cultural socialization. She explores topics like pregnancy/motherhood in adoptees, birth family connections, and systemic issues in adoption policy.
Education: PhD from University of Minnesota, M.Div from Princeton Theological Seminary, BA from Rutgers University. Courses taught include professional counseling ethics, group therapy, and interpersonal relations.
