Susan A. Dewsnap

Susan A. Dewsnap is a Lecturer in Art and Visual Culture at Bates College. She exhibits her ceramic work nationally and internationally, with awards from prestigious competitions such as the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts Biennial and the World Ceramic Biennale Korea International Competition.

• MFA in Ceramics from University of Nebraska-Lincoln

Her expertise spans color theory, development of ceramic artworks with drawn and painted surfaces, glaze chemistry testing, and wheel-throwing/hand-building technologies. She has represented galleries across the United States and taught at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 2008 to 2012.
