Supriya G. Mohile, M.D., M.S. is a Professor of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Rochester Medical Center, where she serves as Vice Chair for Academic Affairs in the Department of Medicine and Director of the Geriatric Oncology Research Group. She leads the SOCARE (Specialized Oncology Care and Research in Elders) clinic at the Wilmot Cancer Institute, one of the few geriatric oncology clinics in the U.S.
Dr. Mohile specializes in improving care delivery for older cancer patients through geriatric assessment (GA), focusing on treatment toxicity reduction, functional status monitoring, and multidisciplinary care. Her research addresses underrepresentation of older adults in clinical trials and develops evidence-based models for chemotherapy management in aging populations.
Her recent work explores yoga interventions for cancer-related fatigue, geriatric assessment implementation, and social vulnerability in oncology outcomes. She has contributed to ASCO clinical guidelines on geriatric assessment and serves on the JCO editorial board and as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Geriatric Oncology.
