Dr. Sunny Lee is an Associate Professor of Organizational Behavior and Head of Diversity at the UCL School of Management. She holds a PhD from London Business School, an M.P.P. from the University of Chicago, and a B.A. in English Literature from Seoul National University. Her career includes consulting roles at Accenture and Hewlett Packard before academia. She teaches negotiation courses globally and leads diversity initiatives at UCL.
Dr. Lee’s research focuses on gender differences in workplaces and biases in organizational decisions. She examines how stereotypes and selfish motives influence recruitment/promotion decisions and gender disparities in competition/negotiation. Her work has been featured in Am Psychol, Academy of Management Journal, and media like BBC and The Financial Times.
She pioneered UCL’s first diversity-focused initiatives, including the UK’s first Diversity Research Day and the MSc in People Analytics & Human-Centric Management. She advises companies like Rasd and See Talent on leadership and AI-driven HR strategies.
