Sunil Kumar Joshi

Sunil Kumar Joshi is a medical doctor (MD) specializing in occupational medicine/hygiene and diabetology, with a Ph.D. in public health and community medicine (injury prevention and safety promotion). He currently serves as the Head of the Department of Community Medicine at Kathmandu Medical College (KMC), Kathmandu University, and holds visiting professorships at the University of the West of England (UK), Linnaeus University (Sweden), Nepal Open University (Nepal), and Sri Sri University (India).

• Research Affiliation: Nuffield Department of Orthopaedics, Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal Sciences (NDORMS), University of Oxford, UK.

Research Interests: His work spans occupational safety, diabetes management, injury prevention, and gender studies. He integrates public health frameworks with clinical practice to address health disparities and promote workplace safety. His postdoctoral fellowship at the European Centre of Gender Excellence underscores his interdisciplinary focus.
