Dr. Julie Mytton is a Professor of Public Health at the University of the West of England's School of Health and Social Wellbeing. She serves as Global Health theme lead for the Centre for Public Health and Wellbeing, Deputy Director of the Centre for Academic Child Health (a joint University of Bristol-UWE research centre), and Co-Lead for Training and Capacity Building at the Applied Research Collaboration West of England (ARC West).

- Collaborations: Kathmandu Medical College, University of Bournemouth, Centre for Injury Prevention Research Bangladesh, Royal National Lifeboat Institution
Her work emphasizes evidence-based policy development in low- and middle-income countries and building research capacity among early/mid-career researchers. Current funded projects include NIHR awards for Nepal injury research, Bangladesh drowning prevention, child road safety analysis, and brain/spine injury technology applications.
