Sue Evans is an Associate Professor in the Department of Accounting and Finance at Swansea University's School of Management. With over 40 years of professional experience spanning Further Education, Higher Education, and private sector training, she specializes in management accounting and pedagogical innovation. She holds a Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) and has led major academic programs including the BSc Accounting and Finance and the Foundation Degree programs. Her research focuses on employability, digital collaboration, and inclusive education strategies. Recent work explores knowledge-sharing methodologies like Knowledge Cafés and the transition from online to in-person learning post-pandemic.
Education: Graduated from the Polytechnic of Wales and Cardiff University.
Roles: Current Programme Director for Foundation Degree Programmes; former Deputy Director of Learning & Teaching. Serves as an External Marker for the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) and a Subject Matter Expert for McGraw Hill Publishing.
