Dr. Sudhagar Nagarajan is an Associate Professor and Associate Chair in the Department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatics Engineering at Florida Atlantic University. He directs the Advanced Geomatics Engineering Lab, focusing on non-contact infrastructure monitoring using LiDAR, drones, and multisensor systems.
His research includes shoreline erosion analysis, 3D building modeling, and underwater infrastructure assessment. Projects funded by NASA, DOT, and TRB address resilience in coastal communities. He received the ASPRS Roger Hoffer Award (2018) and ESRI Best Paper Award.
