Subra Ananthram is Professor of International Business and Innovation at Curtin University's School of Management and Marketing. As a Curtin Academy Fellow and Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, he leads research on sustainable business innovation and cross-cultural management.
Research Domains: Frugal innovation examines jugaad adaptations in emerging markets, while green entrepreneurship focuses on women-led sustainable ventures. International business studies investigate growth configurations of multinationals, and educational research explores employability development.
Publication Trends: Recent work (2022-2025) highlights renewable energy transitions, ethical decision-making in multi-faith contexts, international student employability, and gender dynamics in STEM careers. Methodologies span multi-level policy analysis, compositional configuration modeling, and longitudinal skill assessments.
