معرفی
Stéphane Bazot is a Professor and Assistant Director of the Écologie, Société et Évolution (IDEEV) laboratory at Université Paris-Saclay. His work focuses on understanding carbon and nitrogen dynamics in forest ecosystems.
- Education:
- PhD in Agricultural Sciences (2004), Institut National Polytechnique de Lorraine
- DEA in Agricultural Sciences (2001), ENSAIA Nancy
His research explores carbon and nitrogen cycling in temperate forests, with a focus on root exudates, nutrient resorption, and responses to climate variability. Publications highlight collaborations with teams across France and Switzerland.
Recent trends in his publications include forest decline mechanisms, carbon allocation patterns, and isotope tracing in oak and beech ecosystems. He has contributed to applied soil ecology, biogeochemistry, and tree physiology literature.
Stéphane Bazot is part of the Plant Ecophysiology team, previously holding post-doctoral and teaching-researcher (Maître de Conférences) roles at multiple French institutions. His work often integrates field experiments with isotopic analysis.
