معرفی
Laure Barthes is a Lecturer at Université Paris-Saclay's Laboratoire Écologie, Société et Évolution (IDEEV), where she has held a faculty position since 1998. Her work integrates plant physiology, soil science, and microbial ecology within forest ecosystem research.
Her academic credentials include:
- PhD in Ecology (1990-1994) from Paris Sud University
- DEA in Ecology and Plant Production (1989-1990) from Paris Sud University
Dr. Barthes specializes in nitrogen cycling dynamics in forest soils, investigating seasonal nitrogen fluxes, tree uptake mechanisms, and microbial mineralization/immobilization processes through in situ $^{15}$N labelling experiments. Her research bridges plant ecophysiology and soil biogeochemistry, with methodological collaborations for microbial identification using PLFA techniques.
As a core member of the Plant Ecophysiology research team, she conducts extensive field-based teaching across multiple programs including undergraduate biodiversity courses in Fontainebleau forest and Master's expeditions to the Alps, Auvergne, and Roscoff, emphasizing plant recognition and ecosystem analysis in natural environments.
