Styliani (Elina) Panetsidou is an Assistant Professor in Accounting and Finance at Coventry University's Research Centre for Financial & Corporate Integrity (CFCI). She holds a PhD in Finance from the University of Strathclyde, alongside an MSc in Banking and Finance and a BSc(Hons) in Marketing. As a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, she teaches undergraduate and postgraduate finance and accounting courses. Prior to Coventry, she worked at the University of Strathclyde and in the financial sector.

Research Interests: Corporate finance, ESG, climate finance, insider trading, private equity, and inclusive finance. Her work explores topics like corporate governance, financial market regulations, and emerging market dynamics. Her research is published in journals such as the Journal of Corporate Finance and Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting, and has been featured in media like Columbia Law School's CLS Blue Sky Blog.
Funding & Awards: Received grants from the British Academy, ESRC, and Research England. Recognized as a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Conferences & Engagement: Active in academic conferences, including the British Accounting and Finance Association and Financial Management Association events. Serves as a peer reviewer for journals.
